Lakeview Oasis is a vacation rental owned and operated by a Michigan limited liability company. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean that company and the people who manage the home. This explains what we do with information from this website. It's short on purpose, because we collect very little.
Only what you choose to give us. If you sign up for our guest list, we collect your first name and email address. That's it. We don't ask for or store payment details, mailing addresses, or ID on this website. Reservations and payments are handled by the property manager, whether you book directly or through a platform like Airbnb or Vrbo, under their own terms and privacy practices, not through this site.
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to see which pages guests find useful. This uses cookies and collects general, non-identifying information like device type and pages visited. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work fine.
If you join our guest list, we use your email to send occasional updates, local tips, and offers on future stays. Nothing more. We only email people who opt in right here on the website.
Our guest list is completely separate from your reservation. Bookings are handled by the property manager, either directly or through a platform. If you reserved through Airbnb or Vrbo, all booking changes, payments, and messages stay on that platform. Joining the list is voluntary and has nothing to do with your reservation.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We rely on a few trusted services to run the site and send email, such as our website host and email provider, and they only handle your information to provide those services to us.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us, and we'll remove you promptly. If you live somewhere with specific privacy rights, such as the EU or California, you can contact us to access or delete the information we hold.
We use reasonable measures to protect the little information we keep. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep what we collect to a minimum on purpose.
This website is meant for adults planning or enjoying a stay. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
