The home uses Starlink satellite internet (a SpaceX company). The router is in the bunk room on the lower level - a wood box mounted on the wall with a flip-up door. Please don't unplug or adjust it unless you need to restart the router.
Five smart thermostats are in the home. The thermostat in the living room controls the AC for the entire home (and the heat for its zone). The other four thermostats control the heat only for their own zone.
All TVs in the home have live TV and movies from Hulu. The TVs use Amazon Fire Sticks to also stream Amazon Prime movies and TV, plus additional loaded apps with more entertainment options. Printed instructions are by the TV remotes. Please don't unplug any cords from the TVs.
Laundry detergent pods are in the laundry room if you need to run a load during your stay. Please don't put sandy clothes directly in the washer or dryer - pre-rinse them first on the back deck (lower or upper) with the provided hoses.
If using the dryer, please check and remove any lint from the filter before and after each cycle.
Please put the trash cans out at the end of the driveway on Tuesday evening - collection is Wednesday between 6 am and 6 pm. Recycling isn't collected by the city; if you recycle, bring it to the self-service drop-off by the Manistee County Fairgrounds in Onekama, by Portage Lake.
